Truflette: Welcome to the thread. Alas, I missed the crucial first hour. However, I heard much caution expressed in the subsequent hour. Brinker noted that the current S&P 500 price/earnings ratio of 20.2 (based on 1997 earnings) was scraping the historical heights and was, unquestionably, cause for trepidation. Brinker at once reinforced his greater confidence in the Total Market Index where levels are, presumably, less lofty. Ps. My word, I have never heard the term "bankruptcy profession." There's a first time for everything!
