The country wasn't ready for single-payer. It is now. It's like gay marriage. No one knew what it was and now everyone who doesn't drag his knuckles supports it.

If American CEOs had half a brain cell (and they don't) they'd have worked with Democrats to get single-payer so they wouldn't be crippled with health insurance, but we have some of the dumbest people on the planet running our major corporations. They think we can afford to borrow more money and give them a tax cut. They are not sane.

We always win. Always. It just takes time.
