After all the gold has been turned in, what is left to sell?

Who knows? But by then I'll have closed my position.

What I wonder, though, is this: is the South Korean government merely asking individual citizens to contribute their gold to the national cause--you'll remember, the idea is to melt it down and sell it--or do they plan to sell some of their reserves as well? Or have they already done so?
