Is the problem in San Diego a Republican vs. Democrat thing? Is "Elwood" too hip for the San Diego community? Is he not hip enough?

Whatever the problems which prompted a third-rate Sunday feature story on eDigital, the point is it's not hard news. And it's hard news which will drive the market, not a popularity contest in San Diego.

Yes, the hard news, not soft news, will move EDIG's share price and marketshare to new heights. And just because the company's improved as a result of its reengineering does not make it the company it was in the past. My gosh, I always thought improvements were to be complimented, not condemned.

And you know what? There's not a darn thing that Humble Carl and/or his disgruntled San Diego Union-Tribune newspaper buddies can do about it. eDigital's gonna be bigger than they are now or would ever hope to be.

Indeed, SDMI, Intel or IBM, Lucent or any of the other industry heavyweights don't care much about Elwood's local political problem when it comes to spreading wireless portable micro devices across the planet. Isn't it obvious that if eDigital were lacking in credibility and quality of products none of those corporations would have done deals with the company?

You want an answer to what's going on? Add up the real stuff; not the prejudicial and opportunistic stuff. Also consider whether or not eDigital has competition, and how folks writing from the competition's perspective might describe EDIG. There's all kinds of reasons why a slant can exist here or there.

But, above all, let the reengineered company with a whole new focus have a fair benefit of judgement as it moves on with its future plans. It's stuff like Lanier renewing its huge contract and the kind of press below which really matters:
