There is no link given for that post. However, the writer, Gary Shapiro, needs to be more careful about one thing he said:

Never before has the federal government told a company it may not relocate within the United States.

This was not a relocation. This new plant did not affect jobs in Washington. No one was laid off or fired. This was an additional facility that expands production. Relocation implies layoffs and taking the jobs elsewhere - not the case here.

Even if there were layoffs in Washington to relocate jobs, there's not a damned thing wrong with it. States, too, compete in a "free market" and should lose or gain jobs due to their policies. There should be a price to be paid for stupidity.

I can think of some lawyers in the NLRB and Washington state who need to be laid off.
