<<The Navy wasted a lot of Marines in WWII.>> Geeze they did. Vietnam too. Then I look at some of the Civil War programs and it boggles my mind. I watched the Memphis Bell today. Those fly boys went through 25 missions in hell, not like the stealth flyers that launch from 400 miles. I knew a guy who flew a B-17 and came home and took up farming. He didn't talk about it but there was something special about the guy.
