Why do you continue to ignore Afghanistan? And according to you AQ is the primary enemy in Iraq. Aren't those attacks on the US?

If you pay attention, the enemy we've been fighting in AFghanistan has been the Taliban. Which is a different, though allied, movement from AQ.

there were more than 5500 attacks in Iraq last month. According to you and Bush most have been by AQ. How could that be possible without an increase in strength?

I don't know whether your number is real or what it represents.

And no one in the Pentagon will dispute that AQ has not increased in strength and regrouped in Afghanistan and have refuge in Pakistan.

I haven't seen any mention of AQ in Afghanistan. Taliban yes. AQ no.

AQ's leadership has probably taken refuge in Pakistan's frontier regions. Or they may be hiding in Pakistani cities, like KSM was. Re. the "increased in strength" claim, from when?

Nonsense, Iraq became a cause celebre because Bush and Cheney made it that. It was not a threat to us or anyone else.

Iraq was a cause celebre of AQ before the war. Just read Osama's 1998 fatwa issued in direct response to Clinton's threat to go to war with Iraq.
