O'Keefe's Project Veritas tries and fails spectacularly to bait the Wa Post into accepting a fake news story. Wa Post comes out smelling like a rose, their professionalism on display.

Trump corrupts everything. O'Keefe's group did great work exposing Acorn and PP, now they're trying to cover for a child molester. This was a backfire ... O'Keefe gave credence to WP's professionalism and made their reporting on Moore's alleged victims MORE credible.

1. He made WaPo significantly MORE credible.

And it was put into motion HOURS after the original victim's story broke on WaPo. O'Keefe didn't even take time to look into Corfman's claim, he literally stayed up all night planning how he could discredit her. It's sick.

Of note, impersonating a sexual assault victim to discredit them as a lot takes some heat off Dems for standing by their accused. Everyone does it!

Objectively, WaPo, both its employees and as an institution, has more credibility than it did two hours ago. They should send Veritas a fruit bouquet.

He's right, abusers of both parties would've been aided by PV's hoax.

I remember a time when many of us on the right were disgusted by the attempts of certain organizations to discredit and smear victims of sexual predators (see Bill Clinton’s victims).

There are a million ways to sting WaPo with fake stories, but this was specifically targeted at their reporting about Moore. It was an attempt to discredit Moore’s real victims with a fake one. I’m glad they got caught.
Who would have been hurt the most if PV’s sting had succeeded? It’s not WaPo, but Moore’s real victims. That’s what makes this sting so deplorable.

Impersonating victims of sexual assault to discredit reporting about sexual assault is...really something.

O'Keefe took money from Trump in 2015. That's when the moral rot started.
