International Wayside acquires more ground at Cariboo project

Mr. J. Frank Callaghan reports
The company has acquired additional ground in the vicinity of the Cariboo
Gold Project, near Wells, B.C.
Under a letter of agreement signed April 20, 2000, the company will
transfer 12,000 common shares of International Wayside Gold Mines jointly
to Evan Williams and Douglas Warren Merrick in return for 75 per cent
interest in the following mineral tenures:
Tom 48 -- 375440
Tom 70 -- 375441
Tom 72 -- 375442
These acquisitions constitute consolidation of the company's ground in the
historic Wells Barkerville area in northeast-central British Columbia. The
company recently acquired mineral tenures from Mr. Williams, Mr. Merrick
and Melvin Lee Zeiler and joint ventures with Gold City Industries on the
Promise, Myrtle and Proserpine Properties as well as properties from John
Bot.
Two Longyear 38 drills producing NQ core (2.37 inch) will be moving to the
new discovery area, located near the footwall of the B.C. vein. The NQ
drilling program will allow for deeper drilling and larger, more
representative core samples of mineralization.
