"Although this quarter's results reflect continuing economic problems in the Asia Pacific region, we are seeing the beginnings of an upturn for Trident worldwide as unit sales of our desktop and notebook products are increasing," stated Frank Lin, Trident's president/CEO. "We are experiencing a strong increase in unit shipments for our 3D desktop device, the baseline AGP 3DImage975, while shipments of our 2D desktop products have declined as anticipated. We are also experiencing increasing unit shipment volume of both 2D and 3D embedded memory notebook devices." Trident Microsystems: 650 943-3761.

Sure seemed like all these guys got a big red target painted on their backs when Intel bought Chips and Technologies. They say things are looking up, but I wonder. Neomagic seems to be holding it's own.
