Import records reveal a 5 inch high end Samsung SM-W750V Windows Phone

Here is a rather interesting discovery. It seems Samsung is not quite ready yet to give up on Windows Phone. Indian importation records revealed that Samsung has been sending the Samsung SM-w750v to India, for “testing and evaluation”.

A search for the name reveals the handset is running Windows Phone 8, according to Handsetdetection.com, with the user agent of:

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 10.0; Windows Phone 8.0; Trident/6.0; IEMobile/10.0; ARM; Touch; SAMSUNG; SM-W750V)

The 5 inch handset has a value of Rs. 31,967 for R&D and Rs. 33,245 for “testing and evaluation”, which is around $512 and $533, and about the same as the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3, suggesting we are dealing with a high end device.

Such a handset will likely have a 1080P screen and Snapdragon 800 processor, and is presumably a variant of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5, which is expected to be released in Q1 or early Q2 2014.

Would a high end but pocketable ATIV give our readers a reason not to chose a Nokia handset? Let us know below.
