Speaking of Davos 01/24/2004: Pakistan's Pervez Musharaff is making fascinating revelations there about his own country's and Europe's culpability in Pakistan's covert nuclear programs. <font size=4>Is this more positive post-Iraq fallout from the use of American power? Musharaff is, of course, no Qadaffi, but before our country started flexing its muscles, he wasn't doing anything like this:<font size=3> The investigation began after Iran disclosed names of people who provided them with nuclear technology and they included Pakistani scientists, Musharraf said. "I accept that," he said, adding that he would like to see European countries and scientists investigated for their involvement as well. <font size=4> Musharraf, Pakistan's top general who seized power in a bloodless 1999 coup, said that only the European countries had the sophisticated metallurgy necessary to produce fissile materials required for nuclear weapons. "There are European countries involved in the refining and producing. It is high-class metallurgy. Where is it available? In Europe.
