The problem with miscrosoft is I do not see why they have to do
this other than the fear that an msft independent market emerges.

I do not see any reason they need to get into advertisemnt
business. They are a manufactuer by default. Similar can be
said for AT&T etc..

On-line is like cable/TV, on one hand to provide content and
a communication media, on the other hand you want to do ad
business there.
