The solution is simple next election just vote out the guy whose platform is " I will make energy prices skyrocket!". but he didn't and would never ever say that.. it would make him seem like a bad guy if he said it like that. you forgot the word 'necessarily'.. "under 'my' plan, electricity rates will necessarily sky rocket." see how that makes him seem less bad? after all, he didn't want electricity rates to sky rocket, but under his plan it was 'necessary'. liberals are word-smiths and masters of deception. they have to be because their crap policies never work. oil rigs are now leaving the gulf. his 'plan' is working. gas prices will continue to rise just as he wants. all the while he'll pretend he wants lower gas prices. what do you call someone that lies so he can continue his policies that are destructive to the country? traitor? regarding ken.. loathing hardly seems to cover what i feel, but off hand i don't know of a better word. (yes ken, i absolutely loathe obama.. and more.)
