its easy to get into all sorts of obtuse discussions about ta.basically ta used correctly by someone with expertise is like a fine art form.My problem as a trader is that i sometimes get emotionally involved and forget my TA!although i mad some $ on amat,it was nowhere the amount i should have.you need a good stomach for this game.Basically,i am concerned we've reached the top short term.i think w%R which i use for daily moves is nearly overbought-close to 0.i also didn't like it going from 40 1/8 to 38 and change in the last hour.i got whipsawed.Tomorrow is the moment of truth.DMI lines have crossed =bullish.MACD histogram bullllish;but the macd lines and mov avg must cross before i'm convinced.have you noticed how amat follows the dow almost tick by tick? my guess is we open down,move up to retest 39 7/8 then finish at 39 1/4,or lower,mayby even 38 7/8. many other bluie chips are mimicing this too.
