Jean and VK,

With $4 or $5 billion evaporating this week, I'd be real cautious toward anything holding metal stocks, especially those juniors, and especially in Canada.

I know I don't have to warn you guys, but wonder how it will affect this week. Toronto closing was really scary. There are, I'm sure, margin calls flying everywhere this weekend.

Could push money toward the majors, but could be bad enough to force the funds to have to liquidate, period.

As to the fund that doesn't go down when the stocks drop. Is it possible that he's holding private placements, whereby he gets to use some arbitrariness when he values on a daily basis? Wouldn't be the first time! I would look at the portfolio very closely.

Good luck, Dwight
