On Motorola, you've got a good point there Francis. Motorola currently has one of the largest chunks of the communications market. Cell phones, modems, fax machines, radios, etc.
This is a market where they have developed huge advances that no one really notices (Modem on a chip - introduced by Motorola five years ago and responsible for today's mobile computing boom).
Further, this is also a market that Microsoft and Intel want desperately to dominate (once they finish with computers, networking, electronic finance, fast food, farm equipment, fashion, etc.)
Motorola should take advantage of this lead and develop it to the max! |
