Kevin, my original recollection of that episode was Bill saying "What do you think we are, communists?" I couldn't track that version down, though. Now that I've been informed how foolish it is to track down things people have said in the past and try to reconcile them with current statements, I know that would be a waste of time anyway. Having been informed of my alleged communist leanings more times than I can count, I have a certain Lettermanesque fondness for beating quotes like that into the ground. Subtle irony gets lost among the astute investment crowd. I'm sure poor Slivka will be given ample opportunity to give the correct revisionist version of that event in due time. He probably can't recall it anyway, or it was all out of context. That version of events is currently inoperative. Like Bill's telling the Chinese now, honesty is the best policy. Cheers, Dan.
