My guess, would VP. Right now, though they seem to represent a minority of the Republican Party, moderates have the biggest name recognition and popularity (Giuliani, Romney, McCain, even Powell). If a moderate (like Giuliani) wins the nomination, Rice is a shoe in for VP.

Of course, IMO the absolute worst scenario for Democrats is if the ME blows up, then Powell could win the nomination.

p.s. Of course, a lot of Republicans might not be all warm and fuzzy about a Powell nomination either. :o)
