Wolf 2, glad to hear that DVD and some software is available in your neck of the woods. Here is an update. Went shopping on DELL's web site for a PC with DVD. Go ahead, try it yourself. Couldn't even get to a DVD option for the dimension desktop until I went to a P II @300Mhz which cruised in at about $2400. Therefore to some extent I stand by my earlier post. Yes, the live salesperson was wrong not to let me know that DELL had DVD available but it is still a very high-end price point. Haven't looked at HP and Micron to be fair but DVD is very definitely not moving out the door at even the mid-price range let alone the sub $1000 PC level. Still think LSI won't see big dollars on DVD without further substantial price drops. Just my opinion. Mike Doyle
