It seems especially appropriate that Trickle should focus on liquid handling systems, no? So here's more on these systems from the Scientist. Thumbnail overviews of the competing systems; commentary touching on modularity & costs. Some come with plate handling systems; some don't, but can be integrated into systems customers already own. Since not every lab can afford cutting edge technology, a number of vendors are offering relatively cheap systems for decentralized uses. At the opposite end are folks like Aurora, which sells their NanoPlate-based UHTSS to only the well-heeled for centralized, industrial scale screening. the-scientist.com Cheers, Tuck
