The Verve go talk to a few Israeli airliners. Why invent a new wheel when others have already solved the problem?

The Israeli Airlines like El Al and Arkia have a very small domestic schedule. Most flights are International and are limited in numbers on a daily basis.. The US Airlines have an extensive domestic schedule.. Totaling more than 4000 daily flights.. Skymarshals, and individual Security Profiling just are not supportable within the confines of existing terminal space. Preventing Hijackings on a couple of hundred flights a day from a handful of airports is a much simpler task than doing so from a couple of hundred airports and 4,000 flights a day. Think of the logistics involved with Skymarshals on 4,000 flights.. And with Skymarshals.. You end up with a ShootOut @ 35,000 feet inside an airframe..

You have to prove to the Hijackers that even if they get on board with a gun.. Their attempt will be futile and they will only wake up behind bars in prison.

Then after you fix that problem.. Then you can begin to try and figure out how they will ever let "Private Pleasure Aviation" take to the Air agin.
