Yes, that's true. BUT this could happen to anyone, conceivably. Even a baby. But, are our youngsters who are barely able to speak, able to make out a "Living Will"...? Most often, if this situation comes up, the family, everyone included, should know what the person wanted.

Again, maybe this is a one in a million case. But I will have to ask the question again....Why did her husband wait so long to tell what Terri's wishes were? Why did he allow them to stop therapy when she clearly was doing better...walking etc. Why didn't he heed the wishes of her parents, if he himself, walked away from his marriage, lives with another woman, and has 2 children with that woman?

He is the one that brought the State into the situation. Why?
