Kevin, we meet again, and guess what my other great interest is? OEX option trading. And what a year I have had in 1995. Come to think of it, January 1996 was a doozy too! Go figger!! I would love to have any advice you have on NDX trading. I haven't done that yet, but you appear to share my love of trading indexes on bad news! The Badder the Better!! As I mentioned in the other forum, I have been away from the market since Feb. 15th due to the death of a very close loved one. So, I need a week or two to dive in and get back up to speed. Looks like I missed one heck of a buying opportunity last week on that .93 book-to bill that just got revised to 1.21, right?
Anyway, hopefully in a week or two, I can catch up. Would love any info on trading the NDX. I have good experience trading NASDAQ stocks, but my option experience to date has mostly been OEX. Also, lots of options on NYSE stocks. Merck gave me a nice chunk of change last year. Bought the Jan. 50 calls when Merck was at 35.
But enough about past glory. As I've said before, give me a week or so, and I'll probably be useful again. In the meantime, thanks for clueing me in to a new forum. I'll be talking to you again, I'm sure.
PS: Ronnie Scott is a great guy too. You have to love enthusiasm, whether it is bullish or bearish. Enthusiasm is GREAT! And I noticed that both of you have your share--in both directions Later.... |
