The Sunday Morning Talk Shows
By: Mark Kilmer · Section: Other Politics

It figures Schieffer will talk about steroids. Two years on for Iraq and Terri Schindler Schiavo look like the big ones, and biased retrospectives tend toward tediousness.

Meet the Press (NBC): Host Tim Russert will talk to General Richard Myers, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. It's been two years since the liberation of Iraq commenced. (If Myers hints at stepping down, word on the street is that Marine four-star General Pete Pace will replace him. General Pace would be the first Marine to thusly serve.)

FOX News Sunday: Host Chris Wallace talks with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld about Iraq and Florida's Republican Senator Mel Martinez about Terri Schindler-Schiavo.

Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer will have words with Myers, Chairman Tom Davis of the House Government Reform (Steroids) Committee, and MLB executive VP Bob Manfred.

This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos interviews John McCain, Gerry Adams of Sinn Fein/IRA, and Rumsfeld.

Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolfgang Blitzer is scheduled to chat with Senators John Sununu (R-New Hampshire) and Carl Levin (D-Michigan), no doubt about Schindler-Schiavo, as Levin was one of the main Senatorial proponents of her starvation. And his usual cast of thousands.

I'll watch and review the shows, posting the results here on RedState tomorrow afternoon.
