For starters today Russians have learned from the mistakes of Hitler and Stalin so their presentation of similar intentions are different. Both cruel despotic dictators wanted to conquer the world in one way or another and bring about their own envisioned world hegemony.

Why the present rulers of Russia act the way they act is behind my comprehension and I cannot find an explanation. Why they employ cruel and repressive authority is also something I can not reasonable explain. Why they practice of accepting bribes and exploitation of their own people is beyond my reasoning.
I think the main reason is that I am not like them
Fact is that there more than a handful of modern Russian immigrants to the US who excelled beyond the average US entrepreneur and proves the embedded intellectual potential of the Russian as a nation which is hindered and oppressed by the kleptarchy and the plutocrats ruling them
For the sake of recalling history and Russian involvement one must review the map around the Caucasus mountains and South Ukraine or Volga /Don region and the minorities or small nations that existed there until the Bolshevik revolution.
At least 5 or 8 nations where exterminated in Ukraine by the Holodomor, holodomorct.org and or the Crimean Tatars, and in and around the Caucasus by forced deportation Chechen, Abkhaz Circassians, Altaic, Avars, Karata, Kalmic, Tsezic Hinukh, Bezhta, Khwarshi, and Hunzib, even that they where mostly tribal type of population.
Similar acts of deportation and plain extermination mostly by famine in or extreme weather in the expanses of Siberia or forced labor camps in gulags brought about their practical extinction. No many remained alive to tell the story or where continuously oppressed or used by extremists like the present day fundamental Islamist who where active in Chechnya.

Simply put as the Soviets were not liberated by the Western Armies the horrors never where published and all was kept in secrecy to this day and the Western countries are mostly to blame as it is a know fact which was not properly disseminated and no one was hold accountable like in Nuremberg Trials.
Therefore I do not see many deep rotted differences between the Muenchen accords and the present appeasement of Russians present administration (emphasis added).
The only difference IMHO is that the present Russian administration engaged in this lawless imperialistic exercise is to deflect social economic problems at home to continue their hold in power and their own enrichment beyond any reasonable imagination.
After writing all this one must remember that a small group of madmen do not represent a nation and the present population of Russia is mostly a peace loving, warm, family oriented population which over the centuries was simply brainwashed and more intensely under Stalin and the following rulers.
What the Western nation must do in parallel to stopping Russia imperialist expansionist desires, is to try as much as possible to re-educate and instill the will of independent thinking within the Russian population. |
