Agreed. Sony has this need to try to control everything. The memory stick has not been adopted outside of their own cameras (not very good ones at that) and LCD picture frames. This is too much like the Betamax all over again. With betamax, it was wrong product segmentation, weak marketing, but mostly it's the inability to record 2hrs, unlike vhs. In comparison, the memory stick also holds less memory than a CF. :) Now if only the new Fuji S1pro supports CF, I'd be happier about ordering it. --- CF - the VHS of digital multimedia storage. MemStick - the betamax of digital multimedia storage.
