Jeb Bush's consulting group Choicepoint admitted they scrubbed tens of thousands of LEGAL voters and did so at the behest of Katherine Harris's office, who told them to be very liberal and don't cross-check names. 8,000 names were sent from the Texas governor's office alone, supposedly ex-felons from Texas who now resided in Florida. Though that would not disqualify them from voting, they or anyone with a similar name and/or birthdate (no SS numbers used, no making sure it was the right person) was scrubbed from the voter rolls. That one Texas list alone probably swung the election.

Choicepoint, which is owned by GOP big wig Vin Webber and got a no-bid contract despite charging 50% more than anyone else, later admitted it was a huge "mistake". That is, they admitted doing it, they just pretended it wasn't intentional, but of course it was because the Rove GOP did the same thing in 2002 and 2004. In 2004 the main target was the state of Ohio, where the NAACP had not sued them yet.

Also to blame, a derelict press, citizenry and democratic party who should have spoken out more against this treason. Bush stole both elections and did so on the backs of black voters.
