As to this.

My brother-in-law worked in a hospice for years, they gave terminal patients lots and lots of narcotics. I got the impression that sometimes it was the pain meds that pushed them over the edge.

With the whole world watching, I would expect care and squeaky clean process to be in place and I doubt meds would push over the edge.

But outside of such public glare, I expect anything could happen.
