Amtrak train wreck was really a "kamikaze attack" on Republicans!

Yesterday, an Amtrak train carrying Congressional Republicans to a retreat collided with a dump truck. Sadly, these types of wrecks are not uncommon. It was the 4th Amtrak crash this year. The usual cause of such wrecks is a driver trying to cross the tracks despite signals and the crossing gates being down. NTSB investigators suspect this may be the cause of yesterday's crash as witnesses reported seeing the dump truck attempt to wind through the crossing gates before the crash. Apparently, residents do this on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the Amtrak train was traveling 60 mph, which is twice the 30 mph that the freight trains normally crossing this location travel.
