Robert, you are a very presumptuous person to decide that God has assigned to you the task of helping me understand the fact that Jews no longer have to sacrifice animals for sin. Nor will keeping a set of bizarre and obnoxious and impossible rules of daily living to the tiniest detail or you cannot get into Heaven. And the most preposterous of all, that you need to instruct me that Jesus did away with the Old Covenant of Abraham surrounding slaughtering cows.
This is ludicrous. And no, I am not Jewish, nor am a seed of Abraham. Spiritually, allegorically, and by metaphor and concept I am of the seed of Abraham. To make it any more than that is stupid, since my relationship with Jesus Christ is, was, and will be totally with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit if there was nothing else on Earth for me to know. What I have needed to know the Spirit has told me, exactly as Jesus said.
I am a follower of Jesus Christ, born of the water of baptism, by the blood of Jesus, and filled with the Holy Spirit quite dramatically. All of that without a concept or hint of Abraham to begin with. Perhaps if the whole world worshipped satan, like Abraham, I would still have loved God. But with that I realize the history of the Jews IS God's history on EArth. Without them there would be no history of the one True God.
I sometimes think you guys take the King James too literally, and begin to conceptualize that Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were actually English after all.
