It came down to more than that... It came down to certain members of congress standing on principle and doing what they could, inside the law, and at the request of thousands if not millions of American citizens who care whether Terrie Schaivo lives or dies. It came down to addressing an issue that was/is very important to allot of Americans.....the rights of the disabled. There will always be disagreement, and some people will think their rights are being trampled, but those who do have no patience and disregard everyone else's right to be heard purely for selfish reasons imo. M
