Hello Jean,

Bre-x opened at $4.50 today and up from Thursdays close of $2.60. Not a bad gain if you bought some last week on the TSE or yesterday on the NASDAQ at 1 11/16.

Bre-x looks good for daily trading and one can make a killing if purchased at the right price. I have my order in at $2.50 for a 1,000 shares. I figure losing $2,500 at the worst case is not going to kill me given the upside potential. Next four weeks will be volatile for this stock.....much more exciting than NOVL I must admit.

Talking about NOVL....seems like the suckers rally is over. Could we be heading for the $8 mark before somebody comes in to buy the company at $12 or less ? Look at Apple and where it stands....a $1 billion offer from Oracle and hardly much of a premium from its previous close. Companies that are in the process of losing market share hardly fetch a premium any more.

V.K

P.S Royal Precious Metals fund holds 1.5% of its assets in Bre-X. Reason why it did not fall as much as the others. This Embry guy was quoted as saying that he had been taking profits in the company along the way and was a major seller in the stock in December when the first signs of trouble appeared in the headlines....smart guy.
