The only way to make money is to have a very low cost average. I wrote the qcom june 55 puts.

IMHO I think the writing of puts is much better than the calls, but does not guarantee a profit. It allows you to generate revenue, but if the stock plummets below the strike your at a loss. However, you are not at as much of a loss if you had actually purchased the stock and wrote the covered call. You can write a put on a stock that you would not mind owning at a particular price.

Anyway, thanks again for your feedback. Tough market anyway you slice it. I have been short for the last month and just yesterday purchased 200 JNPR. Ouch.
