IMO European politicians trying to close nuclear power plants are well intentioned but shortsighted. I would vote in any possible way to stop decomissioning of nuclear reactors and try to reassess their viability and reliability on case by case basis. IMHO nuclear power is one of the most viable solutions to Peak Oil and should be given green light whenever possible.
