chip sales have been been bouncing around the 10 to 13 Billion dollar range for the past 8 years...I guess the scary part is the stock prices are 4-5 times higher. That's true of the winners, but not of the losers. Look at the 10 year charts of AMD, KLIC and MU as examples. bigcharts.marketwatch.com So it seems "half the industry gets crushed" while the other half prospers. So what's new?
