Hi Bahama,

INTEL : I agree with most of your article, but feel you have missed out INTEL's KEY problem.
Their problem is the Caminio chip set, which encompasses RDRAM. Caminio was originally slated for 98. It may be ready in June, or maybe not until September. RMBS is the corner stone of INTEL's memory concept, and all µP platforms starting with Katmai (Pentium III) are scheduled to use it. Without it, INTEL still relies on EDORAM and the PIII remains a lame duck.
INTEL is in my opinion a Gorilla, and after this brief lapse will pick up the baton again
