I may have missed this in our recent posting spree... but AMD had an extra 20M shares (diluted) when they reported 1Q00 (see amd.com. Tiresius2 over on Ragin Bull has started but not yet finished his explanation. Too long for me to quote, but a summary is: the convertible bonds. I was afraid this would be reflected only in next quarter along with the start of Dresden interest/depreciation. Has anyone contact investor relations or was information explaining the growth reported someplace? Total face value of debt was $517.5M which is about 14M shares at the conversion price of $37. PT
