EVA,
I guess these barbaric attacks, most likely caused again by the "Political Islam" in London are the culprit for the lack of interest in almost any stock, including PAF.V

However the energy sector is faring better than most of the other parts of the markets. Even crude is up above $60 again.. Option writers must be making a killing when volatility goes up like this..

I took my position late this spring, then almost forgot about it. Recently Pan African Mining saw some interest when eResearch put out their "Speculative Buy" on PAF.V..

Another funny tidbit about PAF.V is that Irwin Olian, the company's CEO is of Austrian descent.. (in the second or third generation).. he is a proven venturer - he stewarded a Nasdaq listed firm from tiny scale to multi-hundred million in marketcap and also was a former director with Investment Bank Sutro & Co.

Obtaining diversity in the flow of natural resources away from problem areas like Saudi-Arabia and Venezuela makes mightily sense for the Free World and particularly the US.. This geopolitical context could create a real WIN-WIN situation vis a vis Africa.

Madagascar is particularly interesting for mining ventures. The current government is pretty entrepreneurial. Flat tax inclusive. Currenz Prez is a small business owner himself and ousted the long time former communist dictator in the first free elections. Under his presidency, Madagascar steered even further away from any remaing French allegiances and seems to have partnered with the US / UK bloc of world power and the World Bank is pouring millions, if not billions into the country for development, infrastructure and mining projects.

The fact that PAF.V and not Cogema of France was able to scoup up these Uranium brownfield and exploration concession is just one natural development underlining the new realities in Madagascar..

appears to be an investor friendly climate at least
