That quote says that the price for one Mwh spiked from one dollar to 9999 dollars sometime in 1998 and then went to 1 penny four hours later and then later says the average is 32 dollars in 2000 and 278 dollars in 2001. Well, CSCO was 2 cents some time last century and 60 bucks in 2000 and 15 bucks this morning(saw it on tv must have been true) and is now 19 or 20, who knows what you should pay for it, I can pay 80 bucks an hour for a car mechanic or 50 cents a day if I lived on the other side of the pond somewhere.
I know where you are coming from, you are mad about being ripped off, well me too, but why arent we pissed off at the lawyers making 10000 per hour while the people making real stuff we buy with our credit cards make 2c per day. Plus, that guy may have seen some tricity at 1c and some at big big bucks but I doubt he bought and sold any at that price, why a $1,000 investment? could have bought 100K megwatts at 1c and then why not sell it for $9,999 per and get well, I guess thats one billion dollars. I ask myself, why am I trying to short JNPR when it just keeps going up, I could be trading lectricity and making big bucks!
PS can u tell me where I can get some of that one penny stuff? I am willing to go up to two cents, back up the truck! ask VENKIE I BET HE WANTS SOME TOO!
