Do Rats Pee in the Caribbean?

ATTENTION ... HUMAN RIGHTS ALERT ... BREAKING ...

The island nation of Cuba is known to harbor "a vast rat population." It is also well known, at least according to highly placed government sources, that these animals heedlessly urinate, almost daily, without regard for the hygenic preferences or religious mandates of other species. Yet is is forbidden for Muslims to ingest "the excreta of animals which it is not permitted to eat" such as "scorpions, centipedes, rats, and similar animals."

As the protein from the rat urine becomes aerosolized, it is undoubtedly being inhaled and ingested by Guantanamo "detainees" and potentially contaminating their Qu'rans. Yet the government has to date announced no active measures to prevent the haram ingestion of forbidden rodential excretions or the equally haram pollution of the Muslim holy book by said substance, a situation which, I submit to you, could well be construed, under international law, as a double harammy.
