The Egyptian blogger Big Pharaoh found to his amusement that with this blast in Doha, the term "suicide bomber", never used before, suddenly entered Al Jazeera's vocabulary. (Pop quiz: where is Al Jazeera headquartered?). No more "sacred martyrdom operations" (used for suicide bombing Israelis) or bland "bombings" (used for suicide bombing Iraqis or Saudis). Suddenly it was a "sucide bombing." Big Pharaoh also noted that the suicide bombers farewell tape, always shown on Al Jazeerah, somehow went missing for the Doha bomber.
