You are talking AT me, but not reading my posts. Please go back and reread my post. You are trying to make a particular point, and I offered another, quite logical possible explanation for the lower crime statistics--the advent of legalized abortion. To further that point, most violent crime is committed by dysfunctional young men. If there are fewer of those in the population at any given time, because of the ebb and flow of the birth rate, crime will go down. That does not mean it has anything at all to do with whatever is going on with gun laws.
