The "economies of scale" ravage the earth and produce surplus mountains of subsidized crops that sit in silos or end up in things like food for the poor and school lunches and make everyone fat! Not to mention poisoning people with pesticides that cause cancer. Why don't you read a few issues of this online organic farmers' newsletter so we could have a more interesting conversation, instead of you just mostly ridiculing something you do not really completely understand? newfarm.org
