Disagree with that, karen. No way does a distinction between instruments of life support trumps the similarities. There are many functioning people who have a feeding tube today. There are not many, if any at all, who are functioning, but are on respirator support, and all sorts of other support, to stay alive, unless they are recovering from surgery. i.e. heart-lung...
