Dear Jane:

The most telling comment you made is that we simply ask the Father in Christ name. Then in Mat 21 we are instructed not to doubt, but believe, and later told to confess with our mouth.

So the story of the ages continues; how then can we not doubt or make our selves believe or believe harder or believe more :

How you have touched my heart this morning with your wisdom.....>>>He didn't give seminars on why, or how. He just gave very simple instructions that IF WE ASK OF THE FATHER IN HIS NAME, it would happen. But again, if it didn't, He didn't spend a lot of time giving lengthy explanations, or instructing the praying person not to lose hope, etc. So that shows me the cards are always stacked for the healing to happen, not the other way around.<<<<

The whole point is that it was Christ's goal to take the pressure off of us. My favorite prayer partner is my 7 year old daughter. We were praying the other morning having our own church service because church was called off because of an ice storm. She asked who is the devil ? I told her he was a powerful angel in heaven but that God threw him out because He wanted to be worshipped instead of God; she thinks about it for a moment and says "thats bad", if that devil messes with me I'll ask Jesus to chop his head off. NO FEAR ! I though all is well here, don't need to go down that road, we continued with the lesson in Psalms.

The back of the serpent has been broken at calvary, respect the adversary's power but fear not. Yes the adversary can still inflict a deadly venom but let us equip ourselves in the full armor of God; when we run into a stronghold let us "lock shields", with one another ( being in agreement does this ) resist the enemy and he will flee, i. e. run away like the coward he is......ready , set, go! In Christ.gregor
