Nuclear Crystals, your information seems to be incorrect but not surprising based on your past history. First of all you should be aware the council of GSLR has not verified anything , and have not met to discuss the resolution since all the outrage began in the community. Council is planning a special meeting ,but the date has yet to be announced. In addition the regional council has not provided any support and they likely won't as at least 3 towns within the MRC have raised concerns and objections Since you made claims about the public meetings I need to ask if you attended any within the GSLR. If you did you surely were asleep. The attendees are overwhelming opposed to the Canada Carbon project. This opposition is not faltering but is gaining support with more names added to the petition even today. There is no way the mayor or council will ignore over 1000 names on the petition with an election looming shortly. The least you will see is more delay and additional constraints upon CCB. I have heard that there is the likelihood of studies demanded on wildlife and fauna occurring well into the year. The likelihood of this project moving forward is dimming rapidly, after all it is a small mom and pop project and with several other marble quarries no real reason to expect any significant economic gains for the region. You're clearly misleading readers about the meetings. Is it correct Bruce Duncan did not show up? Were you aware that no CCB rep spoke at the English session ? Are you aware the Mayor is raising his own concerns ? So what do you think the opposition does now? Do they go away or fight ? Not likely to go away with a large contingent of anti- CCB on the new committee with. Some you have disparaged on this site. You will see things are going to take a long time to be examined in great detail I wouldn't be surprised if some concerns now end up at the OSC and the Autorité des marchés financiers. This in light of claims made by the company and surrogate spokesperson like yourself. You should of listened to the Chief's advice and kept quiet.
