Jac,

After two years rally, not only the US but other world stock
markets are under pressure. We have a no win economic outlook, at least for the near term. If the economy is growing
rapidly enough to support record stock prices, interests raise will
rise so the market is pulled lower. Today we should know more
with monthly emplyment report which I am sure will give indication
of what is lying ahead.
It appears that at this moment one has to have cash on hand, since
we can see the market at 6200 sooner or later, which would be a good
entery level into the market. Easier said than done!!!

Exxon is a excelent stock, and I understand that they will be splitting
3 for one (pls. correct me if I am worng!) Do you know when the split
will come?

As fo INTC, I like the stock and I own some. AMD with therrir K6
is posing a threat to INTC's Pentium Pro, maybe on a long run,
but again, AMD lost 91 million dollars last year. Before
the convince most major PC makers in the States to convert to K6
time will pass. They have a few PC makers in Europe to work
with them; they will have a tough task ahead.
