XM Satellite to offer $300M of sr convertible notes (XMSR) By David B. Wilkerson SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (XMSR) said late Wednesday that it plans to offer $300 million of senior convertible notes due 2009, which will be convertible into shares of its Class A common stock. XM said the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. The offering is expected to close Nov. 23.
