With all respect: You don't need JK to do what you think you should do on your own. He's looking to make this the law of the land that a doctor, such as himself, can do it at his own discretion.
He is a sick man, obsessed with death, watching people die. He could care less about the pain, dignity and all the things he pontificates Unknown to most of the public, he was in agreement with Hitler's policy on the sick, lame, halt and undesirable. Hitler, in his thinking did the right thing and had a “dignified policy on putting people out of their misery and pain, in a dignified fashion”(quoted from an interview in 1994).
The man has no fear of God and no respect for the sanctity of life. He's a pig, and an enemy to everything decent. And as you say, "....Hey ...to each his own...". IMVHO
